The Unlivable House
Originally a two-bedroom, one-bathroom small home, it had seen better days when the client brought Sharon in to see what she could do to make the property appealing in a down market.
Sharon saw the home’s potential and designed a new functional floorplan – three bedrooms, one bathroom, back-entry storage and laundry closet – that would be appealing to a single parent, a family starter home or someone downsizing. She managed the entire project from gutting to completion of interior, new deck and landscaping, and going as far as shopping for supplies and creating a design board of materials to be used. With the property ready to be showcased it was put back on the market.
The renovated home sold for just under asking price in just 59 days in a very down market. Almoste needless to say: the client was very happy.
